Machine Head and bassist Adam Duce have parted ways. The split is amicable, and Machine Head would like to wish Adam the best with his current and future endeavors. The band will continue on for the time being as a three-piece and have begun the writing process for their follow-up to 2011's "Unto The Locust". A late 2013 release is projected.

I would love the chance to play with Machine Head!!! I know a bunch of your songs already such as Imperium, Halo, Locust, etc. I am 29 years old and have been playing bass for 15 years! It would be a dream come true to be a part of the awseomeness that is Machine Head

This doesnt surprise me since there were rumors last year of him leaving bc he was not getting along with others in the band. I am NOT a fan of Adam, i met him a few times and he is a very cocky person. The 1st time i met himabout 8 years ago i told him how there music was a tremendous inspiration in my life and he said "its just music!" ....what an ass! Adam Douche is the complete opposite of what this band is all about, the guy is a self centered jerk. MH did themselves a favor by letting him go. Looking forward to the new album.

@shifty2604: Rex will be great too man, but remember that rob and jason were working in the past for demos and the feeling and friendship was there, Jason will be forever one of the greatest bass players (you only have to listen to doomsday album (Flotsam & Jetsam) or Blackened (Metallica) or the new stuff Newsted-Metal, i still think Jason is the man, the attitude on stage, the backing vocals, the hability to writing songs (thrash songs), i don t know... but to me, it will be great to see Jason with Machine Fucking Head, to me, Jason better than Rex (maybe Rex will be my second choice

@zalo666: Not Jason. I (personally) don't think he would be a good fit. You listen to Load, and Reload when he was with Metallica.. not good.
What about Rex from Pantera?
