The end of the year polls are in, and Machine Head's new album "Unto The Locust" has garnered Album Of The Year honors from Metal Hammer Germany and SiriusXM's Liquid Metal! The album also landed at #2 in both Revolver's "20 Best Albums of 2011" and Metal Hammer UK's "Best Albums of 2011"! And it doesn't stop there! Kerrang's "Critics' Top 101 Albums of 2011" put "Unto The Locust" at #3, The Guardian and Classic Rock magazine both named "Darkness Within" one of their "Songs Of The Year", with the latter placing the album at #15, Guitar World had it at #15 as well, and it even ended up on Decibel's "Top 40 Albums of 2011"!

Unto the Locust is my favorite cd this year hands down. It is inspiring and motivating. I can not express how much this cd means to me. Darkness Within is my favorite song. It is exactly how I feel. Music is our religion and it pushes us to be our own God. We are the only ones that can truly change our lives! Let it set you free.

machine head rule and every magazine if its worth its price it should have MH at number one .. long live MH
