As you all remember, on our recent UK leg of the on-going ‘BURN MY EYES’ 25th Anniversary tour we had the infamous "Beer-Gate" incident, where at the sold-out London show some jackass threw a large pint of beer into our sound board, destroying the $100,000 Midas desk, stopping the show, and pretty much ruining the flow of the evening. 

As documented previously it took herculean efforts from our crew, the venue and support staff to get things up and running again some half an hour later. You guys were incredible in your patience and support for us and each other, but nonetheless, it has left us feeling increasingly unhappy about not being able to deliver the show we presented in every single fucking country and every single venue on this first leg of the tour, not to mention in one of our favorite venues of all time, with a history that dates back to ground zero for Machine Head.  

And while the overwhelming response was insanely positive, with people saying it was a once-in-a-lifetime event, we have decided to take action and move our London show in June next year BACK to the BRIXTON ACADEMY and give you show you were supposed to fucking get!

On top of this news, if you we're a ticket holder last Saturday’s show we are giving you a heads up and a ‘thank you’ £5 discount off the ticket price for the new show. This offer is active at 12 noon today, and valid for 5 working days.

To say that this tour was phenomenal would be an understatement.  Kinda hard to put into words really. The vibe was something very, very special.  

To our incredibly hard-working crew you all kicked so much ass it was insane.  Adversity and challenges came, and you powered through them like a bulldozer. Special shout out to team leader Steve Lagudi for straight KILLING it!  Steve, Luke, Shot Rod, PartyBoi, Head Casey, Paul, Colin, Hannah, Keegan, Joe, Niklas, Peter, Sugar Bear, Sean-Paul you all are amazing, and we are stoked to have you guys on board!  

It’s crazy that there are 6 members of Machine Head now, but hey, life is crazy like that.  All of you brought it every single night, we started out at an incredibly high level, and ended even stronger.  Hands down, the best and tightest these songs have ever been played, and so much freakin fun!  So grateful for everything you all brought to the table. 

To Logan and Chris; I am so glad we’re able to do all this amazing shit after all these years!! To Vogg and Matt, we're lucky to have found guys as talented and great to be around as you two.  Thank you for crushing it every night and raising the musical bar!  Jared, my brotha from anotha motha, you slayed it for 3 1/2 freakin hours every goddamn night! You did an amazing job bro!

Machine Head live-streamed our entire 3 hour and 25 minute concert from Warsaw Poland last week, grab a beer, fire up a joint, and enjoy!

At 16 years of age, our 5th album is officially old enough to drink beer and smoke weed!

It wasn't the easiest of births, the mighty Machine Head had decided to ask to be released from their unreasonable record contract and eventually Roadrunner Records complied.  They remained unsigned for year and a half, were rejected by 35 different labels, but undaunted, continued to tour heavily, and eventually Roadrunner Europe came back on board, with the plan to have Roadrunner America released to record simultaneously.  But on the last day of recording the album, RR US would pass on the album.

Until then, that fact had been kept under wraps, but Robb took to the internet and in typical frankness explained the situation.  Fans took it in stride. 

The album would come out on Oct 28th, but with the proliferation of torrent sites, was released two full months before that.  By the time Roadrunner US got back on board to release the album on April 20, 2004 in the United States, it had been available for eight months online!

Regardless, it remains an indomitable statement of intent, and would prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Machine Head were here to stay.  Many songs from the album remain in the set list today, including “Bite The Bullet”, "Descend The Shades Of Night” and ferocious opening track “Imperium"  which even 16 years later, continues to open many Machine Head shows.  They toured 20 months behind the album, including 3 US Tours, 3 European tours, as well as their first Australian headliner in 10 years
